A little bit about us: We (Mika Beth and Matt) are a husband/wife team that run a full time boutique portrait photography business. I am a portrait artist based in Fort Smith, AR. Mika Beth is the one who shoots and Matt does all the business end! When you call for an appointment it will be Matt who will help you book. Then I am in charge of the artistic part of the business! We are very easy to work with. We have special guidelines all laid out to help you with all the ordering process. We work very hard to make your experience here memorable. Matilda Jane Photo Love | Fort Smith Arkansas child photographer…

I was one of the photographers chosen to participate in the Matilda Jane “photo love” contest! I was totally stoked when they announced the names and I was on the list, as were some of my friends! This was a fun contest. No rules! We got to choose our size and they sent each one of us the same exact dress. We had to put our own twist on our photograph. I was so mad at myself, because I waited until the last day to have a shoot with Sophie. and. it. was. suppose. to. rain. :0 It was freezing and I had 10 minutes to shoot! So with lots of bribes and begging, I got this shot! I was beyond thrilled with how it turned out! Matilda Jane will be posting all the images and the voting begins tonight, so I will be begging for some votes!!!! 151

Workshop on the Waterfront | March 28-31…

I am so excited to announce a workshop that I will be speaking at next march! It will be held at the gorgeous Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland ( where “the wedding crashers” was filmed! ). Registration starts on December 1! I will be speaking with these wonderful photographers!

Mama is getting a new lens! I rented this before i bought to see if I LOVE it… I’m in love for sure! Kind of in love with this little man too! :) Mom and Dad, I will post more… i just had to share these baby parts!
