A little bit about us: We (Mika Beth and Matt) are a husband/wife team that run a full time boutique portrait photography business. I am a portrait artist based in Fort Smith, AR. Mika Beth is the one who shoots and Matt does all the business end! When you call for an appointment it will be Matt who will help you book. Then I am in charge of the artistic part of the business! We are very easy to work with. We have special guidelines all laid out to help you with all the ordering process. We work very hard to make your experience here memorable. We look forward to working with you!

Workshop on the Waterfront…

This cool video was shown at the very beginning of the workshop. I think it turned out so cool!!!   It is a mix of all the speaker’s work.   I’m sorry it has taken me this long to post about my time there.  As soon as I got back, my schedule has been full force!  I have only had 56 sessions since I got back…  so there, that is my excuse!  Well, this post is LONG overdue. Back in March I had the opportunity to be a speaker at the Savvy Workshop on the Waterfront in Maryland. It was held at the gorgeous Inn at Perry Cabin where the movie The Wedding Crashers was filmed. It was a great experience teaching and meeting peers and catching up with old friends. Cheers to Marsha for hosting a wonderful workshop!

Here is a picture of all the speakers! My wonderful friend Catherine and I.Marsha, Jessica, Catherine and me.Representing Millers at the trade show. my lovely friend Whitney English!!!thank you to all the attendees who sent pictures of me in action! There is a video out there somewhere!  I hope I never see it, haha!this looks like I am texting, but really I’m adjusting my white noise app! :) seriously!I taught three different classes, little Ian was an angel baby, he gave me great shots for 3 hours straight!  Here are some picks of me teaching my post processing to the whole group!I want to thank my friend Denise at Matilda Jane for donating the most precious clothes for our little models on portfolio day!  Denise you made a lot of women very happy. You are the most generous woman I know!!!! Here are some pics from portfolio day.and here are shots of Inn at Perry Cabin. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend it!
